The Carbon County Republican Party Central Committee will meet on 2 November 2023 at 6:00 p.m. to select 3 qualified candidates for the vacant Carbon County Commissioner position as nominees.

TO BE CONSIDERED AS A NOMINEE PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

For consideration as a County Commissioner Nominee by the Carbon County Republican Party Central Committee at the 2 November 2023, Thursday 6:00 PM meeting applicants shall:

1.  Be registered as of 1 October 2023, Sunday as a Republican on the “Carbon County Republican Voter List Effective through 10-1-2023”.

2.  Complete the Carbon County Commissioner Nominee Packet in its entirety which consists of: 

• Carbon County Commissioner Nominee Questionnaire 
• A letter of why the Candidate wants to be a County Commissioner and why they would be the best Nominee to fill that role.

3.  The Carbon County Commissioner Nominee Packet must be returned to the Carbon County Republican Chairman no later than 29 Oct 2023, Sunday 12:00 PM (noon). This may be done by email (CarbonCountyRepublicanParty@gmail.com), the CCRP website (ccrpwy.com/specialmeeting), or as able by the interested candidate. It is the interested candidate’s responsibility to ensure they have the packet completed and submitted for consideration by the required date and time. This is important so that proper ballots can be printed accurately in time for the selection meeting.
